Privacy notice
Version of 27 July 2026
This is the website of a private practice. It does not collect data automatically: there are no analytics, no counters and no advertising tools, it sets no cookies and does not track visitors.
Some data is nevertheless processed — in correspondence and at the hosting level. Below is a plain description of what actually happens.
Who processes the data
Yulia Gushchina, clinical psychologist, private practice, Belgrade (Serbia).
For any question about data: yulia.igush@gmail.com
What happens when you press “Send request”
The form does not transmit anything by itself — it opens your own email programme with the message prepared. The message then travels through your email provider straight to Yulia — exactly as if you had written it yourself.
Until you send it, what you typed stays in your browser only.
What data appears, and from where
From your message: your name or how to address you, your reply address, and whatever you choose to write. Often this includes how you feel and what is happening in your life — legally this is a special category of data (health data), and it is handled with extra care.
From the hosting: the site runs on Hostinger, whose servers keep technical request logs, including IP address and browser type. This happens on the provider's side and serves the operation and protection of the site.
From Google — only if you press the button that loads the map in the contact section. Before that, there is no connection to Google. After it, Google receives your IP address and browser data on its own terms.
Why, and on what basis
Correspondence is processed for one purpose: to reply to you and arrange a session. The basis is your enquiry and, for health-related information, your explicit consent, which you give by choosing to include it.
You do not have to write anything about your health in a first message. A few sentences about what brings you and a good time to talk are enough — the details are better discussed at the session.
Who else can see it
The email provider carrying the correspondence — as with any email.
The site's hosting (Hostinger) — within technical logs.
Supervision: as is standard in the profession, individual cases are discussed with a supervisor in anonymised form — without names or identifying details.
The data is not shared with or sold to anyone else. No automated decisions are made about you.
Email is not end-to-end encrypted
An ordinary email passes through provider servers on its way and cannot offer full secrecy. This is not a reason to avoid writing — simply worth knowing: the most personal things are safer discussed at a session than in a message.
How long it is kept
Correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed for the work and for obligations set by law, and is deleted afterwards.
Technical hosting logs are kept for a limited period on the provider's side.
Your rights
You may ask what data about you exists, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, or withdraw your consent. Writing to the address above is enough.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to a supervisory authority: in Serbia, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection; if you are in the EU, the authority in your country.
Age
The practice works with adults: the site and enquiries are intended for people aged 18 and over.
